The construction industry is a high-risk industry and because of this has its own set of health and safety legislation (in addition to the requirement to comply with other legislation). Within the construction regulations are requirements for specific types of training and accreditation. All workers on construction sites must have completed Safe Pass training and employees carrying out certain tasks must have completed the relevant Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) course.
